Drool at all the food we made!

Yes, you should bwahaha. I was wondering how to start this post, and so this is how we're starting it. With pictures!

So first! Pasta! Cutie said he was peckish, so we made pasta for lunch. On monday I think. I added in milk and lots of cheese directly into the sauce, so it was good XD And cutie thought I was weird because I dumped the leftover beef from us making tacos a few days before in it hehe. And so the beef had a bit of its own flavour going on XD And he liked it anyway.

And then on monday or tuesday (whichever), we made beef curry! Well, we wanted to do something with the steaks in the fridge, and neither of us knows how to season steaks, so we decided to make curry, since we bought cayenne pepper and curry powder in advance last week. It tasted like curry, and it was pretty decent, but of course I'm used to the Curries of Absolute Doom and Ecstasy my mum makes, so it was subpar for me. Cutie liked it though and it turns out that he likes the smell of curry. Wait till he eats my mum's curries! Wahaha!

On wednesday, we went to Applebee's for lunch (whoa smothered chicken, gooooood. I'll have to figure out how they do it, it's grilled chicken with capsicum and cheese on it, the juices of the capsicum really made the chicken very tasty. And I had pretty awesome garlic mashed potatoes with it in unimaginable portions. And guess what, I nearly finished it XD I'm almost American now! And Jinghui better be prepared to lose the eating competition wahaha)

And afterwards, we went shopping and stuff, and we went to a mall, which is like a shopping centre in Singapore, except it has only one storey, because they have so much ridiculous space. And I finally bought a swimsuit. And its green! It's a very strange looking one, because it has holes, with a goldish lining, but I just found it really interesting. So, anyway, Tunafishy, me ain't posting up pics of my bikini thanks XD

We made chicken rice on wednesday night! The chicken was good, but the rice needed something, or maybe I'm just pampered by the chicken rice we get at hawker centres or better, ang mo kio Banquet *insert dreamy face* But it was pretty nice anyway, and cutie liked it. It was quite funny though, after the chicken was done, I said "cut the chicken", and he just gave me this incredulous look and said "what?".

"Well, cut it with a cleaver"
"We don't HAVE a cleaver, bintonut"
"What kind of carnivore american are you?"

Or, well, something along that vein anyway XD

On thursday, we made bacon and eggs! With toast! And it was nice, though I was like wtf, why is there so much fat on this thing.

And we made french toast just now, but I didn't take any pictures :P

So! Now you've heard about all our culinary adventures, except for the cookies of doom, which we'll save for another day. nd you haven't heard about all the awesome desserts we ate. I'm becoming round :(
This is what you get when you date a binto with a black hole in their stomach and super high metabolism. He is a binto! XD

So anyway, there's other stuff to say, but too bad, no time, cause we're going for his class and then meeting his aunt. And then going over to crystal and chris' place. Yay meeting people day XD

Oh! And we played this awesome game. Eternal Darkness! It's such a col game, as you kill things or you read chapters of the Tome of Eternal Darkness, you start losing sanity points, and the effects are interesting to say the least. Statues start turning their heads and looking at you, walls start bleeding, when you look in the bathtub, suddenly a corpse of a woman appears, and nasty things happen to your character, and the suddenly it pans back to the character just sitting where it was previously, which means he/she was hallucinating. The game even messes with the player's head, where at one point it looked like a roach was crawling on my screen, and once it stopped at some point and said "the battle for.... has been won, but what about the war..." or something like that and the "to be continued". And you go, wth? XD Yea, its a fun game XD And we played it at night hehe

Anyway, we is got to go!

Sand in our pants

Heya guys, I'm back from our weekend away at miami beach. Since we were bintos and didn't end up using sunscreen lotion even though we had it, my skin started producing melanin like a siao woman, so I look kinda funny :P Cutie's kind of sunburnt too :P

Anyway, home alone right now since I shooed Ark off to school. So here is my I-am-bored face.

Photos from Saturday

Here are the promised pictures of the gorgeous sunrise on miami beach taken from our window in the apartment.
View from the other window, which is directly opposite from the windows facing the beach. This window has a great view at night, but I forgot to take any pictures then :P You can see the intercoastal

Picture of us right before we went to the beach in the morning. He's trying to show just how much taller he is than me, apparently. Such a rubbish woman XD One of the first things he said to me when we met was "You're so tiny!" XD He will be thrown out of the window, never fear! Muaha

Picture of us after playing around in the waves. The waves there are very strong and oh so fun XD He taught me how to "body-surf" which was very very fun, and there was a LOT of seaweed floating around so I had fun pelting him with it. Fear me, mortal! I am the seaweed queen! Yea, I actually said that and more XD And yes, I look very dark here because we forgot sunscreen and my indian skin is very paranoid about getting skin cancer so it over compensates XD I had very interesting tan lines haha XD

Grocery shopping at Publix. Yes, they all do that with their shopping baskets there

We went to swensen's today and that was fun XD The same sort of lanterns and stuff. And huge portions XD I left most of the fries, we boxed it but then forgot to take it with us :P Oops haha

This is my turkey avocado melt, which was really very nice
And this is the Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie that we shared. Totemo sekushi XD It was oh so good and I got the cherry bwahahaha
And person who complained that I don't have any pictures of myself in my blog (which is a LIE of course), I have 4 in this post now XD

So that's all for now! I'm off to make myself breakfast, and will blog again wednesday probably. We'll see XD

On miami beach!

We drove to north miami beach, where his sister has an apartment right by the water (waaa amazing view from her windows!) on friday night after watching Batman (which was really good). For those who don't know, Miami beach is actually an island off the coast of florida. Going over the JF Kennedy Causeway was strangely reminiscent of going over Woodlands causeway XD I met his sister, who is really nice, and we went out for dinner at a place called Shucker's I believe. Or maybe it was our goal and we ended up not going there after all :P I wasn't paying attention XD

After that we bought alcohol at a liquer store nearby and drove to her friends' house, where mummy started trashing all the high scores on one of the guy's wii fit. Seriously XD Now most of the balancing games has "Ben" as the top scorer (Ben is one of the guys there) which were played by mummy haha XD
http://www.nintendo.com/wiifit/launch/

And the best part was that there is this body test you do when you create a profile on the wii fit, and it tells you your age based on your bmi, balance, etc, and this guy was saying that he goes to the gym 3 times a day and works out like siao, and is very fit etc etc etc XD
And his wii fit age was 36, so he told Ark, "don't worry, its very brutal" because as we all know cutie is a gamer with awesomely nimble fingers and a strong thumb, but I don't think he has stepped into a gym after high school.

Anyway! It turns out that Ark's wii fit age was 29, whcih isn't all that bad at all XD Haha gym person, lazy gaming is the way to go XD

Anyway, the wii fit looked really cool, and people just make a fool of themselves flailing around on it sometimes. Damn I wish I had brought my camera. Too bad, I ran out of battery and left it in the apartment.

So, anyway, me and Ark are boring people, so we didn't drink any alcohol at all XD I'll have to say that I've just lost my interest in it, and he has never gained any in the first place. So after his sister fell asleep on the couch, me and Ark left her there and drove back to her apartment, where we hung around a bit and fell asleep.

Next day! We slept in a bit, and then ate leftover pizza from the fridge, and then hung around the apartment for a while. Then we put on sunscreen and went out walking to look for a place to have a drink and buy a swimsuit. Ark hates to drive and I love to walk, so yay :) We didn't find any starbucks or anything, so we went into a steakhouse and had drinks at the bar. We had a sprite and a cranberry juice (guess which was whose! XD) and then he decided to try a beer for the first time (guinness stout) and i tried a sip. Yea, me was never meant to try beer. It was horrible *insert horrified face here* He didn't like it either :P We're just not the drinking kind I suppose. I had some fruity concoction that Ark actually tried and deemed worthy XD Oh, and of course, I forgot that I was actually illegally drinking, because seriously, I've been over the drinking limit for two years, and I come here and am underage again? Pshposh. Anyway, I only realised it halfway when Ark tells me to quieten down on my tales of the 19th birthday night-out where my bro and uncle got me drunk XD Oh well XD

After we wandered back home, we decided to just read together for awhile, and that was very nice as well :) It's fun just hanging out with him. I of course, fell asleep on him at some point, and woke up after sunset, so we couldn't go grocery shopping, so we'll do that today once he wakes up. We ordered in pizza yesterday, and seriously, I will roll off of the plane when I get back to Singapore.

And yep, swimsuit hunting again today, hope we find something other than the horrible bikinis we saw yesterday in a hotel store :P

Oh, and I forgot to bring my camera cable, so no photos for you guys this time round waha :P I took some really nice pictures of the sunrise, which I will post up :)

Kk tatas, I'm going to go wake him up bwahaha }:)

Tacos and more!

Kk, cutie's gone to school after I dragged him out of bed XD I've stayed home instead of following him so that I could blog and stuff.

So anyway, updates on the last two days.

We went for his classes on wednesday, and one of his professors mistook me for a student. Oops! XD And then we went for a movie in the evening, Hancock, which was really quite good, so all of you should go watch it or forever be held in contempt for being a foolish binto. And after the movie, we went to have dinner at Chili's, which is a mexican place that has fajitas and all. So, I had a bowl of chili, which apparently is supposed to be a side dish, but it was a full-sized meal for me anyway. EVERYTHING here is super-sized, I asked for a small fruit punch at the cinema, and it looked like a medium. Safe to say, cutie's medium Dr Pepper looked gigantanormous XD

Its just funny, because everyone has just been amazed at how little I eat, in their opinion. If I even try to eat in american portions, they would have to roll me off the plane XD

And yesterday, cutie made tacos XD He was being all domestic and house-husbandy XD Though apparently he was making sure that I was being a good indian wife by doing the cooking himself. I don't know what kind of logic that is XD He's just a silly binto :)

We're planning on making chicken rice, and I was thinking of making some kind of curry as well, since we found and bought some curry powder. Wonder how THAT would turn out XD

Anyway, pictures of us as promised XD

No matter how many times I uploaded this picture, it comes out sideways, oh well. Neck exercise, bintos!
And no, his grandmother didn't spray holy water on me XD She adores me apparently, and I apparently walk on water. At least that's the impression his mom gets from talking to his grandmother XD

Anyways, I'm off to make myself a sandwich. A beef-free sandwich! Bloody hell, I've had so much beef the past few days, I must have eaten a full cow by now O.O

I'll blog again later! Byea bintos!

Bowrbowr Bintos!

Well, all the stalking is creeping me out, so here is a post to satisfy all the unholy hungers of the masses. Ergo, crumbleycake and plankton. Well, I'm safe and sound, and very content. Oh and those who were worried that I would get murdered in my sleep, plankton pulled some strings and now I have someone here I could live with if my sayang turns out to be an axe murderer. He'll make a very cute one though, even if he doesn't really have the chin for it *insert more crapping here*

So anyway, I've been here for two days and it has been great. At the moment, he's sleeping, so I creeped out to blog some. Here's where I'm sitting, in a sort of a den right outside his room

His house is sooo nice, just imagine one of those really cozy little homes in the movies, I'll post some pictures soon :)

So anyway, we've just been lying around, playing a bit of ff10 and ff7, watching movies, going shopping for munchies, and we took a walk in the rain, which was very very nice. We also discovered a very nice lake while we were out walking, but didn't get too close to the water cause it probably has alligators in it. Most lakes here have alligators in them, and lots of doggies get eaten :P Florida may be a paradise, but little sparkys and foofoos don't like it here much :P

I'll take pictures of the lake when we go for another walk. We're planning on going to Everglades National Park, which is going to be awesome XD It has all kinds of stuff in it, like marshes, lakes and forests, and all kinds of animals, like panthers, alligators, herons and all kinds of other birds :D Hopefully we see something while we're there.

Oh, and for those who threatened to strangle me if I didn't post about our first meeting - well, that ONE person anyway - you should just know that we're very boring bintos. XD I thought I would have to go through customs to get out, and it turns out that I didn't, because I was already in the country! So I'm wandering around, trying to find the damned baggage carousel, and suddenly I practically walk right into him. We exchanged hellos and then waited for my luggage which arrived so fast that he was shocked into doing the seaweed-penguin dance. No, not really :P But it did arrive really fast. And then we drove back to his house, and it started raining just as we stopped outside his house, so that was fun XD And then I met his grandmother who is very nice, and so it happens that his grandmother got first dibbs on hugging me wahaha :P

And that's all for now I guess, I'm just going to put a few photos here that I took on the plane, and here.

Picture taken in Shanghai, so many other signs that are just simply amusing XD]

Picture taken of new york from air. Thumbs up for sparkly lights and thumbs down for bad service at the airport :P

Picture taken as we were losing altitude in preparation for landing at miami international airport. The ocean just looked sooooo nice XD

A picture of my cutie XD I'll put up a picture of us both when I actually take one

And just something extra, a sign I saw in Singapore XD And there was an advertisement at mustafa centre that literally read "Wild oats with horny goat weed" . We were in a taxi, so I couldn't take a picture XD

New Old Post

Argh. My previous post got wiped out. This is inhumane, making me type out something that I can hardly remember anymore. After all, golden words can never be repeated

In any case, there were 3 points to address.

1. IMVU Singaporean's 1st gathering was a HUGE success!

1st stop - The Clinic
Wonderfully morbid with its wheelchairs, metal tables and IV drips with mohitos or whatever they put in it. Bet they don't serve THAT at the local hospitals!
We all met there, everyone was nice, and we talked about goat testicle soups, hot angmohs walking by and how ravebro can actively park his car for a solid half hour XD

2nd stop - Satay King
Wonderful satay and local dishes at ridiculous prices. But the restaurant was very nice and the food was good. Good conversation, good company, lovely lovely. Jedifish and Suilin's cousin had to leave early though, that was sad. Poor Ravebro was stuck with us 5 girls with no male support and companionship for the next stop :P

3rd Stop - 1NiteStand
Small comedy club, but there was no comedy act on that day. A band called Six in the City was playing and the club DJ was pretty good too. Lots of 80s type music and RnB. We attracted lots of attention, what with the enthusiastic dancing, starting a crazy congo line that went around the entire premises as well as trailed out of the club, and wild swinging limbs XD

We made plenty of friends too, like the lady who hugged and thanked me for sitting in their place (or rather, dancing near their place and putting our bags there) while she went to dance with her boyfriend. She hugged me again before I left and told me she'll be there again on this friday. What a character! XD

There was also a curious angmoh, who accidentally put his his pool stick up my skirt ( and that's NOT an euphemism!) while aiming for a shot, and whenever he came back to our side of the pool table, he went " I'm back! Again..." with a little eyebrow dance.

And there was another angmoh fellow with his chinese/taiwanese(?) friend who dragged me and cookiechop out to dance in the middle of the dance floor, and after one song, we dragged out CheesyT, SuiLin27 as well as RedizAlertz as well, and had a wild dance marathon. The new recruits to me and cookiechop's clubbing expedition were astonished by our sheer stamina and ability to dance for hours like madwomen without pause. Mission: scare the hell out of new friends. Outcome: accomplished. XD

And when we finally left early at about 1, a few guys on the dance floor were calling us back XD "Where are you going? Come back!" haha. Blew them a kiss and left with loud farewells. Its interesting, the kind of people you meet at clubs. Weidos, horny people, drunk people, people proposing marriage to you out of the blue and once in a while, nice people who dance and have fun with you and then its sayonara :) Guess we made some newer new friends after all, together with the crazy imvu people we met and bonded with.

And guess what! We're having another gathering this wednesday (AKA today for me) because its Ladies Night, and those usually rock XD
Hopefully some of the girls can make it, or me and cookiechop will go anyway.

Since we're on the topic of clubbing, might as well talk about some of the weirdos I've met.

Courtesy of the Black Magnet (aka cookiechop) black men who would never usually approach me (on accounts of the intimidating countenance of yours truly) approach me, and all such encounters end bizarrely. Why can't I meet nice black men, intellectual ones, etc? I always see them on television and movies. Those type don't seem to be attracted to Singapore at all. Anyway, last wednesday, this black guy at The Arena started to try to creepily dance with me, and I remember trying to dodge and twirl away from his reach, as well as using cookiechop as a shield. She's wonderful, always shielding me from pervs XD

And soon after, we went to The Attica, where another two wanted to dance with us, and of course, since cookiechop was occupied, I had to extricate myself from the one trying moves on me, and then save cookiechop on account of us wanting to go to the ladies. Artful dodgers, we are. We can even do that perfect British accent, though I'm sure the Brits won't agree. And we went back to the Arena (because it has better music) and at the end of the night, about 4am, it was attack of yet another black guy! This (in a business suit and looking respectable!)one ended up propositioning me.
"That is my friend's wife, she has two baby boys, would you like the same?"

I must admit, I was just so dumbfounded at such a ridiculous question. I gave him my typical you-have-got-to-be-kidding-me look, raised eyebrow and all, and he keeps asking me the same question. I say no firmly, and he says why not. I mean seriously, why on earth would I? XD
And when I tried to leave, he asked for my number, I said I don't have a phone, and he takes out a PDA phone and another quite expensive phone, and asks me "which one do you want?". He was lucky that cookiechop decided to drag me at that exact moment, or I would have just laughed my ass off in front of him. As it was, I was giggling madly as we walked and took a taxi. So far, of the 6 people I've told this to, all of them thought I should have taken the phone. But I'm just too nice. I would have probably just bruised his ego (by laughing like a maniac) and let him keep his phone XD

And that reminds me of the black guy I met in The Pump Room a few months ago. He came up to me while I was swaying near the doorway, waiting for cookiechop to get us a drink. Here's a shortened transcript.

Usher dude: You have very nice calves.
Kas: Thanks *puzzled smile*
U: I like your sandals, where did you buy them?
K: Erm... Leather Atrium. It's at Bishan Junction.
U: Oh, Bishan Junction, wow. I want to buy those sandals for my sister, because I don't have a wife or girlfriend, I just have a mother and sister. So I'm going to buy my sister these sandals. Where did you buy them?
K:Bishan Junction.
U: Oh right, of course. I think my sister would love these sandals. Its too bad I don't have a girlfriend. The sandals are nice.
K: Riiiight. Thanks. *wtf expression*
U: I think I might get lost on the way though. Can I have your number so I can ask you if I get lost?
K:*enlightened expression* Sorry, I have a boyfriend.
U: Of course! I wish you and your boyfriend all the happiness in the world. Both of you are wonderful together. I hope you're really happy. Wow, a boyfriend. You two must be really good together. Are you happy with your boyfriend?
K: I am. *get lost expression*
U: Of course, of course, you have a boyfriend and.....

And this continued until I got sick of him, and artfully dodged him. I disappeared into a sea of tall angmohs [they are so useful for this ;)].

And guess what, a week later, I see cookiechop talking to this black guy and I go to investigate. He is sitting with another few black guys, and one of them (whom I didn't recognise) turns to me and says "You have a boyfriend". Oh wow, thank you for reminding me that I'm supposed to have a non-existant boyfriend around weirdos like you. You are very kind. And everytime he sees me (even though I can never seem to recognise him) he will announce to me that I have a boyfriend and I will know exactly who he is.

And there have been a few weird angmohs as well, but I will save those for later. I realise I have talked alot here haha. Guess the post being wiped out was good, because a lot more gets blogged :P

anyway!

2.
4 more books have been added to my reading pile (and I discovered I can't count, the original pile is 13, not 12 :P)

14 - Life of Pi by Yann Martel
15 - So Long, and Thanks for the Fish by Douglas Adams
16 - Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams
17 - A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson

Well, I won't have to go to the library to borrow books I bet :P

Oh, and I just realised I can't remember what my 3rd point was. Oh well. At least we all know it existed, at one point. I shall refrain from saying "point" again :P

And that is my monologue for today. I rarely get the urge to type so much anyway, so treasure this involved spiel XD

And shoutout to my crumbleycake in Norway! XD And my cookiechop who has to go to work in a few hours after yakking with us on webcam :P

What I've been up to

Hmm lets see. I better draw up lists which will be seen as monumental pillars of organisation and extreme management (like extreme sports, except the latter is safer).

Things I'm looking forward to:

-IMVU Singaporean outing tmr (or rather, today, since its way past midnight :P)! Will get to meet all the weird and happy shiny people I've been crapping with online for the past few months. And bully Uncle T in real life. And watch cookiechops pinch evilmonk wahaha!
will post pics XD

-overseas outing with cookiechops? Don't know if she can make it, but in any case, I want to get out of here and see something different. New eyecandy please! And I don't mean that of the homosapien persuasion. I wanna see different trees and cool little creatures and critters! And hopefully not see a single tourist. (I refuse to be refered to as a tourist, because I'm not. I'll just be a wandering phantom, avoiding tourist atractions and going down less trodden paths and shit and hopefully not get lost... Oh well. Getting lost is a mini-adventure :P

Damn, I was just looking at Darwin, Australia. Looked sooo perfect. Beaches and hot ang mohs for cookiechops, waterfalls, crocodiles, wildlife, perfect sunsets and stargazing for me! And under $500! But then I found out that this is the wet season = hot and humid, and far more unbearable than singapore! I'm not leaving a nice and cool monsoon for THAT monstrosity! So, Darwin is out :( Guess we have to go Bali or something

-Reading the mountain of books I've acquired through borrowing from my bro-in-law(B), bought at cheap sales(C), and bought at kinokuniya(K) (waaa dent in my pocket X).
Titles:
Tales of the Unexpected by Roald Dahl (C)
Complete Prose by Woody Allen (C)
A Twist in the Tale by Jeffrey Archer (B)
The Collected Short Stories by Jeffrey Archer (B)
The Prodigal Daughter by Jeffrey Archer (B)
As The Crow Flies by Jeffrey Archer (B)
Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer (B)
The Hook by Donald E. Westlake (B) [psycho thriller :P]
Q Clearance by Peter Benchley (B)
The Real Eve (AKA Out of Eden: The Peopling of the World) by Stephen Oppenheimer (K)
Adam's Curse: A World Without Men by Bryan Sykes (K)
The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins (K)

So that's 12 books. Eh, not bad, lucky number :P And I've got 3 weeks of holidays left. Hmm. Well, I won't run out of things to read in the dorm :P

-Doing more artsy stuff, which I never thought I might do :P Like my stabstabs, crayon drawings and other miscellaneous hobbies I'm picking up

-Doing some research for two of my upcoming modules, namely current genetics and microbiology.

And stuff... Now I have to go to school and convert the videos we took for horseshoe crabbing :P

OMG. I just remembered that with my old template, my comments box is gone. Oh sheesh.

20 months! O.O

It's been a loooooong road! Getting from there to here. It's been a looooooong time, but my time is finally neaaaaaar!

haha It's been 20 months since my last post, and well, I guess I'm finally back then :P It took quite a bit of searching and lots of messing about with the wretched google account application page
-.-"
Not to mention I lost all my formatting! I want my old custom formatting, with my cool fixed background (I know its common now on imvu and all, but it took a lot of searching for the code back then!), my awesome scrollbar (with which i had skirmishes as was documented in this same blog eons ago :P), and even the pesky side bar! I shall mourn them.

*one minute of silence*

heh.
It just might be fun blogging again. I have no idea why I started blogging in the first place anyway. I was never one for diaries (my one sole atempt at a diary stood at one entry and empty pages for eternity) or talking about my feelings and whatever rot. I guess I just wanted to try the new fad and see just what the whole fuss was about :P

In any case, I think I've changed quite a lot in these three years. I'm less cynical and yet more cynical at the same time. Those who knew me in secondary school would probably say I'm less of a cold bitch now though XD You could say I was more of a "doing" person, focused on the end point, which meant that I locked target and dragged everyone there, kicking, screaming and vomitting. It got the job done, and I couldn't be bothered with all the petty concerns and bickering. I'm nicer now, letting other people do the steering. And more optimistic perhaps, but at the same time more pessimistic. I guess its just a matter of being optimistic and pessimistic about different things :P

Oh, and I talk an awful lot more nowadays. You can see just from the length of this post as compared to posts from times past. I've picked up my long lost facets of my childhood, which have been lost during my teenage years (my curiosity about the world, which drove people mad, my talkativeness (if that's a word), activeness, restlessness, etc etc). And I'm waaaaaay more open now. It's all the fault of the people I met in jc, especially crumbleycake, cookiechops, benzilla, jinglebells. (See, people, it's good to have nicknames for everyone, easy reference, and only those who know will know XD).

In any case, the reason I started up my old blog is in response to the one set up by my tuna crumbleycake. She's in Norway for a month, abandoning me for a fisherman, and this will let her know what me and cookiechops are up to, in any case XD

Oh, and finally in this blog, I'll start talking about myself rather than weird random things that I think about (though that will feature heavily as well :P)

And I feel like starting a new post. Kk I will :P
